Nokia 1208 Disassembly

• Remove your back cover, battery and sim card.

• Run something like a credit card around the join of the front cover to release it.

• With the front cover removed your phone should look like below. Remove the six screws you can see then lift the main body of the phone from the housing.

• Your phone should now look like below. Two metal clips hold the LCD and frame to the circuit board. Pull these clips back to release the screen and frame.

• Turn the phone over and it should now look like below. The circled connector needs to be disconnected. It attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever it up
  to unplug.

• Your phone should now look like below. Now simply push the LCD screen out from the other side.

• You should now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
